Datacenter Engineer - Power & Cooling

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Datacenter Engineer - Power, Space, & Cooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve daily network equipment installation requests based on Power, Space, and Cooling systems
• Manage rack unit fragmentation to optimize space utilization for future equipment deployments
• Update floor plans, rack layouts, and power assignments to maintain accurate documentation and facilitate operations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in data center engineering or critical facilities management with a focus on PSC
• Relevant electrical certifications (e.g., Master Electrician, CDCDP, RCDD, PE)
• Extensive knowledge of AC/DC power distribution systems and HVAC systems
• Familiarity with DCIM software and structured cabling systems in a data center environment
