Senior System Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior System Architect to support the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) Public Health Information System (PHIS) contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide all phases of development, modernization, cloud migration, and implementation, including system design and architecture
• Plan and direct the development of major projects and system installations
• Perform technical research on emerging technologies and provide alternative solutions

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems architecture, design, and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS) and cloud migration strategies
