Design Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Manager to lead the development of hand-knit and crochet designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of original knit and crochet patterns that highlight yarn qualities
• Oversee technical development, including stitch selection and garment construction
• Research market trends and manage the pattern design process for print and digital release

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in knit and crochet design, with 2-3 years in a managerial role
• Strong portfolio showcasing original knitwear designs
• In-depth knowledge of yarns, knit structures, and garment construction
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and pattern formatting/charting tools
