Director of Business Intelligence

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Business Intelligence to establish and scale a centralized BI function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the BI function by establishing scalable operating models and governance frameworks
• Enhance BI infrastructure and data architecture in partnership with IT, enabling greater business ownership of analytics
• Build and lead a high-performing BI team while driving adoption and data literacy through training and strong business partnerships

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive BI and analytics experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven track record of scaling or transforming BI capabilities in mid-size or enterprise environments
• Experience in the enterprise software or SaaS industry, with knowledge of subscription business models
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, SQL Server, Excel)
