Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform, including Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Services
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data and engineering professionals
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for data infrastructure, ML model development, and data delivery systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years of experience in a data-focused role, including 4+ years in a leadership capacity
• Deep technical expertise in modern data architectures and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle from model development to deployment
• Proven ability to lead complex, long-term, cross-functional technical initiatives
