Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale its engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Guide and mentor a team of full-stack engineers to foster their growth and technical expertise
• Ensure reliable delivery of new features, infrastructure, and services across frontend and backend systems

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role
• Strong background in building and scaling full-stack applications (Node.js, Typescript, React)
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth startup environments
• Demonstrated ability to set and drive execution of a technical vision while nurturing a healthy team culture
• Must have a permanent address in one of the specified hub states: California, Florida, New York, Ohio, Utah, Texas, Michigan, or Washington
