Director of Engineering Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering Operations to scale and enhance the engineering organization's planning and execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate key engineering forums and ensure effective decision-making and follow-through
• Implement and manage programs for patents, standards tracking, bug bounty, and open source compliance
• Drive engineering health metrics, reporting, and financial oversight, including vendor management and budget forecasting

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years in engineering operations, program management, or related leadership roles within software/SaaS
• Deep familiarity with engineering processes, incident management, and change management
• Experience in developing data-driven dashboards and reports related to engineering metrics
• Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
• Experience with regulated environments and audits (e.g., HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA)
