Crash Simulation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crash Simulation Engineer to join a growing government contractor in a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, coordinate, and control project work to meet client objectives
• Lead technical efforts and stay updated with industry best practices
• Create sled FE models, position crash test dummies, perform vehicle impacts, and conduct injury analysis

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred
• Experience in evaluating laboratory test results from impact testing
• 2+ years of experience with vehicle crash simulations using LS-DYNA
• Demonstrated experience in post-crash simulation injury analysis
• Experience with LS-OPT, Design of Experiments (DOE), and optimization
