Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of the Open Source Program Office (OSPO).

Key Responsibilities

• Define the company's Open Source Strategy and long-term roadmap for engagement and contributions
• Build and lead the centralized Open Source Program Office, overseeing policy and engagement goals
• Engage with open source foundations and communities, serving as the primary liaison and representing the company in open forums

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering, product, or developer relations roles, with 3+ years leading open source programs
• Proven experience managing OSPO functions at a technology company
• Deep understanding of open source licensing and compliance frameworks
• Excellent knowledge of the Apache Software Foundation ecosystem and governance
• Experience coordinating across Legal, Security, Engineering, and Product organizations in distributed teams
