Director of Application Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Applications System Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads a technical team in application system development, production support, and testing
• Plans and coordinates software development activities, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Develops relationships with internal teams and clients, managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years coding experience in AWS or cloud technologies, and 8+ years in a managerial role
• Willingness to be on call 24/7 as an escalation contact
• Experience in the Credit Card, Banking, or FinTech industry is preferred
• Technical experience with various programming languages and cloud technologies is preferred
