Director of Safety

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Safety to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance in delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies for delivery operations and autonomous vehicle systems
• Conduct safety assessments, audits, and manage risk management processes
• Communicate safety vision and strategy to partners, regulators, and the public while overseeing safety-related projects

Required Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience in safety-focused industries
• Deep technical expertise in safety engineering, preferably in high-tech environments with autonomous technology experience
• Hands-on skills in data analysis related to safety
• Experience with risk and reliability functions
• Previous experience in AV companies is a plus
