Director of Scientific Publications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Scientific Publications to lead the planning, development, and execution of scientific publications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee strategic publication plans across therapeutic areas
• Partner with internal teams and external authors/agencies to deliver timely, accurate manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations
• Ensure publications meet the highest standards of scientific integrity and compliance (GPP, ICMJE)

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in a scientific or healthcare-related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a management role in pharma, biotech, or scientific communications
• Strong expertise in publication strategy and scientific writing
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Proven project management and organizational skills
