Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives
• Build and lead a high-performing sourcing and procurement team while establishing KPIs and performance metrics
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee contract lifecycle management to ensure quality and cost objectives are met

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Extensive experience in sourcing or procurement leadership for IT, particularly in cloud and SaaS environments
• In-depth understanding of licensing models, cloud economics, and subscription-based services
• Proficient in procurement systems and Excel-based modeling
