Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Technical Accounting and Policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP and industry best practices
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of external financial reports, ensuring compliance with SEC or investor standards
• Ensure accounting policies support internal controls and assist with IPO readiness and capital market initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
• 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on technical accounting and financial reporting
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, particularly in SaaS and healthcare revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Experience with business combinations and multi-entity environments
• Proven ability to implement new accounting standards across global teams
