Job Summary

A company is looking for an editor to lead a team in producing a print and digital magazine that showcases the culture and people of the Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chart overall editorial strategy and manage a team of staffers and freelancers
• Conceive and execute engaging stories while maintaining a stocked editorial calendar
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure production standards and deadlines are met

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of management experience, preferably in a news operation or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and conceive well-reported enterprise stories
• Cultural competence and familiarity with best journalistic practices related to equity and inclusion
• Experience in both print and digital news spaces
