Embedded Cyber Software Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Embedded Cyber Software Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, sign, and configure custom boot loaders and lead Secure Boot integration efforts
• Perform recovery testing and verification for secure boot and firmware recovery mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features and provide technical training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in secure boot loader development, including UEFI Secure Boot
• Strong knowledge of firmware security, encryption, hashing algorithms, and hardware root of trust
• Experience with PolarFire FPGA firmware services or similar hardware security platforms
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Bash
