Senior Electrical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead/Senior Electrical Designer to lead design projects and teams in the Power Generation engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical designs for Power Generation projects, ensuring compliance with engineering codes and standards
• Mentor and train other designers, while managing project forecasting, scheduling, and budgeting
• Develop 3D models and perform calculations for electrical components, ensuring designs meet safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the Power Generation or Oil & Gas industries
• Significant experience with 3D modeling and leading design teams
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as Smartplant3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit
• Experience in multi-discipline team environments, with a focus on mentoring and developing designers
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget with limited oversight
