Engineering Manager, MCP

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager for the Model Context Protocol initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 4-5 engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship
• Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and influence product direction
• Define the technical strategy for MCP, including architecture and integration patterns

Required Qualifications

• Experience with AI assistant development, integration design, or developer tooling
• Hands-on technical leadership with a history of shipping AI-powered products end-to-end
• Familiarity with backend and frontend technologies such as Python, React, and Node.js
• Strong understanding of AI/ML systems in production and experience with LLMs
• Proven ability to develop talent and foster a collaborative team culture
