Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager - Platform to lead a team of platform engineers in building and maintaining core infrastructure and platform services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers in designing, building, and maintaining core infrastructure and platform services
• Oversee the use of AWS services and ensure reliable, scalable cloud-based platform deployments
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance workflows and tooling for operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management experience with a focus on platform or infrastructure teams
• Strong proficiency in software development, particularly with Python and NodeJS
• Solid experience with AWS services, including ECS, EKS, SQS, and RDS
• Expertise in CI/CD processes, particularly with GitLab and infrastructure as code
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response for distributed systems
