Environmental Health Scientific Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientific Programmer - Environmental Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Support federal agencies in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches for environmental health
• Provide data curation and scientific computing services related to environmental pollutants and health impacts
• Collaborate with a team of science professionals to address the effects of hazardous agents on human health and the environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computational linguistics, data science, or related fields
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in data curation, bioinformatics, or scientific computing
• Experience working with federal agencies such as the EPA or NIH is preferred
• Familiarity with computational methods and new approach methodologies (NAMs)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including remote collaboration
