Job Summary
A company is looking for a Scientific Programmer - Environmental Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Support federal agencies in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches for environmental health
- Provide data curation and scientific computing services related to environmental pollutants and health impacts
- Collaborate with a team of science professionals to address the effects of hazardous agents on human health and the environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computational linguistics, data science, or related fields
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in data curation, bioinformatics, or scientific computing
- Experience working with federal agencies such as the EPA or NIH is preferred
- Familiarity with computational methods and new approach methodologies (NAMs)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including remote collaboration
