Environmental Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a project-level Environment and Social Management Plan (ESMP)
• Compile and summarize relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks applicable to the project
• Identify potential environmental risks and social concerns, and propose capacity-building measures for effective ESMP implementation

Required Qualifications

• University degree in environmental science, natural resource management, environmental engineering, social sciences, or related field
• At least 5 years of practical experience in environmental and social safeguards, impact assessment, or environmental management planning
• Working knowledge (level C) of English
• A national of the Philippines or a legal resident with a valid work permit
