Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Virtual Remote Coordinator to join our Flight Operations Preparing Booking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and record-keeping of FAA-managed pilot training and assessment. This is a part-time remote job opportunity that offers a competitive compensation package and a unique chance to work with a dynamic and growing airline.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan pilot ground school, simulator training/assessment, and practical experience with the A320 aircraft
• Schedule, track, and report new and redesign pilots to meet flight qualifications and FAA regulations
• Assist Manager, FOTS in scheduling and tracking Operating Experience (OE) for new and redesign pilots
• Ensure all simulator sessions are booked accurately and coordinate with Airbus to block simulator time according to monthly scheduling needs
• Monitor cancelled calls for upcoming Recurrent Training, Initial Training, Instructor/Check Airmen Training, reschedule those required, and fill spaces that become available
• Input and maintain team qualification records as well as document ongoing training records; draft monthly training reports
• Coordinate monthly Pilot bids and assist with processing Monthly Open Time for Instructors
• Process Daily Open Time for Instructors
• Handle or field incoming calls for scheduling and department management
• Work directly with Crew Planning, Ground Training, LOA, and other departments to ensure all pilots are fully qualified and ready to work scheduled flights
• Be the administrator for Flight Operations Site, including posting relevant operations information, notices, and compliance with ALPA required documentation
• Communicate with FAA, ALPA, and other organizations as required
• Maintain department library, including time-sensitive updates and required operating manuals
• Use multiple and varied software systems to complete assigned tasks

Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• High school diploma required
• Minimum 2 years of office administrative experience
• Preferred functional experience with Saber CrewQual, CrewTrac, and MINT Program
• Liked prior airline training or Crew Planning experience

Skills and Competencies
• Excellent working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
• Essential understanding of flight crew qualifications and Pilot CBA
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
• Excellent use of MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly and draft communication in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to establish a good rapport with internal clients and vendors
• Good telephone, administrative, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to act professionally with a diverse work group
