FAA Waiver Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an FAA Waiver & Authorization Writer (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and finalize FAA waiver and COA submissions for public safety clients
• Review DroneSense-provided packages and integrate them into the final regulatory documents
• Respond to FAA RFIs and participate in revision cycles

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience writing FAA waivers, COAs, and authorizations
• Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 107 and the FAA UAS regulatory framework
• Familiarity with public safety UAS operations and Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs
• Experience preparing detailed CONOPS, Safety Risk Assessments, and related documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple waiver tracks simultaneously
