Finance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Finance Director responsible for overseeing all financial activities and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead the annual budget process and provide financial reports to the board and leadership team
• Oversee finance team operations and ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with legal requirements

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in nonprofit financial management, particularly with 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) structures
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IRS regulations, and legal compliance
• Demonstrated ability to lead annual budgeting processes and multi-year financial planning
• Experience overseeing audits, tax filings, and funder financial reporting
• Proficiency with financial software such as QuickBooks or Sage Intacct
