Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the statutory accounting close cycle, preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare deliverables with an increasing understanding of assigned areas and tasks
• Research and document accounting issues, and draft new or updated accounting analyses and policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, plus a BA/BS in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of work-related experience required
• CPA or CMA is a plus
• Technical accounting knowledge with experience in statutory accounting and reporting required
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
