Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates the medical record completion process and conducts audits and analysis
• Tracks and reports corrections of medical record discrepancies in compliance with regulations
• Promotes outstanding customer service and teamwork within the department and organization

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• 1 year of experience in Health Information Management required
• 1 year of clerical/administrative experience required
• RHIT certification preferred; MOS certification preferred
