Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Placement Counselor to conduct assessments and manage the pre-admission process for applicants seeking treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine program appropriateness and level of care recommendations
• Create a client/customer focused experience for all clients/referents/customers seeking services
• Provide crisis management services to prevent or reduce emergencies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Substance Use Disorder certification or license in the state of employment
• Proficiency with technology and computer skills for documentation and virtual meetings
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Master's Degree in behavioral health program (for Patient Placement Counselor 2)
