GIS Mapping Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mapping (GIS) Specialist to enhance client safety and security capabilities through GIS integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit customized Safety Blueprint maps using GIS, ensuring data accuracy through QA processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide mapping support and resolve customer inquiries
• Conduct site visits for asset tagging and maintain technical documentation and training materials

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in GIS applications and knowledge of CAD, GIS, and cartography principles
• Experience with GIS software editing, versioning, and analysis tools
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with teams
