Government Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Government Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost accounting data and its compliance with reporting standards
• Oversee development and maintenance of cost models and support financial decision-making
• Prepare and submit the annual Medicare Cost Report and support various government cost proposals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5 years of experience in cost accounting
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools
• Professional certification such as CMA or CPA is preferred
