A company is looking for a Sr. Government Reporting Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost accounting data and its compliance with reporting standards
- Oversee development and maintenance of cost models and support financial decision-making
- Prepare and submit the annual Medicare Cost Report and support various government cost proposals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience in cost accounting
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools
- Professional certification such as CMA or CPA is preferred
