Head of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead a mission-driven engineering team and integrate AI into their products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a growing engineering team while balancing strategic scaling and innovation
• Recruit, develop, and oversee performance of Frontend, Backend, and QA engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and deliver user-facing features and internal tools

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with management of frontend and backend engineers
• Experience building and scaling products in a startup or early-stage environment
• Comfortable with 0 to 1 work and leading greenfield builds
• Proficient in tech stack including React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and Postgres
• Experience with AI-native workflows for coding and engineering practices
