Healthcare Economics Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Healthcare Economics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance rate study methodologies and pricing models for medical networks
• Evaluate and monitor new medical network structures and ongoing pricing assessments of administrators and PBMs
• Provide leadership to the Healthcare Economics team and identify growth opportunities with business partners

Required Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with 7+ years of healthcare actuarial experience
• Experience in stop-loss insurance is a plus
• Prior management experience preferred
• Experience with medical networks or provider contracting is a plus
• Ability to work across different functional areas and manage ambiguous situations effectively
