Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate High School Spanish Teacher to join a school in Reserve, Louisiana. This full-time position teaches Freshman-level Spanish courses. Position Details:
• Location: Reserve, LA
• Schedule: Full-Time, School Hours
• Caseload: Freshman (9th grade) Spanish | up to 3 classes
Requirements:
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with a bachelor’s degree (non-certified candidates considered)
• OR hold a degree in Spanish with teaching certification (certified candidates strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
Responsibilities:
• Teach engaging Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Build a positive and motivating classroom environment
• Incorporate culture, humor, and creativity into instruction (sí, the occasional dad-joke in Spanish is encouraged)
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them grow
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure student success
