Part-Time Sociology Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Faculty member to teach SOC 102 Social Problems during Winterlude.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and/or update the class syllabus
• Prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments
• Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of an MA in Sociology or a closely related discipline
• Preference for ABD and PhD candidates
• Evidence of effective teaching required
• Ability to maintain regularly scheduled office hours
• Experience with online teaching preferred
