Job Summary
A company is looking for a Permanency Specialist to support children and families in achieving permanency goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with children and families to match them with appropriate placement options and educate them on the adoptive process
- Implement permanency plans, conduct home studies and assessments, and coordinate services to improve participants' social and psychological functioning
- Advocate for families throughout the permanency process, including attending court hearings and community meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an approved Human Service field
- Current CWEL certification
- Valid driver's license in good standing and current automobile insurance
- CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
