Job Summary

A company is looking for a WSO Title Examiner in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform title examination and analyze the chain of title for various title orders
• Identify and resolve issues that cloud title or impair the transaction process
• Prepare initial title commitment documentation and communicate with clients regarding title insurance coverage

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Baccalaureate degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the title industry, with national or regional experience preferred
• Full understanding of underwriters Mutual Indemnification Agreements (MIA)
• Ability to make well-reasoned risk decisions
• Experience utilizing ResWare or similar title software preferred
