A company is looking for a Medical Coder to support benefit-related initiatives for large health plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret coding guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with benefit configuration and policy teams to validate coding accuracy
• Analyze and resolve conflicts between coding requirements and policy mandates

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical coding, billing, or claims processing
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-CM codes
• Understanding of coding's impact on benefit configuration and claims
• Experience with payer benefit structures, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
