Information Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Assurance Engineer to support cybersecurity authorization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an information system security engineer for Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Evaluate software and hardware to ensure compliance with security requirements and manage cybersecurity authorization activities
• Develop and maintain system security documentation and participate in briefings regarding cybersecurity statuses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance
• Active security certification meeting DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher
• Experience with cybersecurity assessment, vulnerability scanning, and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as eMASS and ACAS
