Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Review data to identify and remedy vulnerabilities, documenting security threats and incidents
• Manage vendor relationships for enterprise security applications and tools, and respond to SSAE18 requests
• Participate in breach investigations and implement automation of routine security tasks

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Technology or Business or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in the IT security field preferred
• Strong background in operational computer security, application security, and scripting languages (primarily PowerShell)
• Working knowledge of information security laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, PCI-DSS)
• Preferred certifications in Information Security such as Security+, CISSP, or GPEN
