Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer II to secure APIs across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement API security controls and tools
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with teams to remediate findings
• Analyze API traffic for anomalies and contribute to threat detection efforts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
• Industry-standard certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP preferred
• At least 2 years of related experience with 1+ years in a hands-on information security role preferred
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows systems
• Working knowledge of application and data security concepts and common vulnerabilities
