Systems Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer III responsible for the architecture, administration, and maintenance of the Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the architecture and maintenance of Splunk platforms, including handling requests from partner IT teams
• Provide consultation and training on best practices for Splunk usage and create technical documentation
• Integrate Splunk with other platforms and monitor critical systems through the platform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus six years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus twelve years of experience
• Experience in Splunk implementation and maintenance in a mid-large scale organization
• Knowledge of multi-site environments and data administration
• Experience with Splunk CLI, configuration management, API development, and Linux Servers
• Current or previous possession of Splunk Admin Certification
