Infrastructure Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Infrastructure Design Engineer to work remotely in the Seattle Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create layouts for data center infrastructure, including facilities, cabling, and equipment
• Perform capacity planning and resource allocation for scalability and efficiency
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data center infrastructure performance and security

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data center architecture and design requirements
• Proven experience in a large-scale data center or telecommunications environment
• Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP) are a plus
