Inpatient Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Auditor & Educator.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on internal coders and analyze results using audit tools
• Provide education and training to Coders based on audit findings and identified trends
• Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to enhance Coder performance and quality

Required Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
• 2-5 years of experience in inpatient facility audits and coding
• Knowledge of coding guidelines including ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use audit software
