Instrumentation and Controls Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Estimator - Instrumentation and Controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate cost estimates for municipal water/wastewater projects related to process and electrical controls
• Understand technical aspects (PLC, SCADA, P&IDs) and business aspects (estimating, proposals, budgets)
• Occasionally travel for bid walk-throughs or client meetings

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical controls design/startup
• Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) background, including sizing and integrating instrumentation
• Estimating/project costing experience with the ability to create accurate bids
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and ability to read P&ID drawings
• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, but strong experience may substitute
