A company is looking for an Insurance Credit Resolution Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and review patient accounts for insurance overpayments and ensure compliance with payer guidelines
- Process refunds for insurance companies and maintain accurate documentation of all transactions
- Resolve outstanding credits and discrepancies by collaborating with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate, Medical Office training certificate, or relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in physician revenue cycle or claims management
- Background in posting charges, claim follow-up, collections, and payment posting
- Experience with AthenaHealth and/or AthenaOne is a plus
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
