Interim Finance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Higher Education Interim Controller/Finance Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of the finance department as Interim CFO or Finance Director
• Conduct financial reporting, analysis, and oversee daily financial operations
• Advise on financial policies, prepare financial statements, and assess finance department efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in higher education finance or accounting leadership
• Prior experience as a Controller, CFO, or Director of Finance preferred
• Hands-on experience with higher education ERP systems (e.g., Banner, Colleague, Workday, Jenzabar)
• Bachelor's degree required; CPA or MBA preferred
• Previous consulting experience is a plus but not required
