Labor and Employment Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel/Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment, Litigation, and Risk Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advice on various labor and employment matters and handle commercial disputes
• Create and manage global employment documents and policies, and deliver training related to risk mitigation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for risk mitigation and monitor legal developments

Required Qualifications

• JD with 5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house
• Expertise in US labor and employment laws, preferably in IL or CA
• Significant experience in counseling on employment and commercial dispute matters
• Experience directing investigations and participating in litigation
• Must be admitted and in good standing in any US jurisdiction
