Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure, negotiate, draft, and provide advice on venture investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate development transactions
• Assist and partner with cross-functional legal teams on transaction diligence and integration
• Provide legal support and advice on employee equity matters, investor matters, and real estate transactions

Required Qualifications

• Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of corporate legal experience, including deal work on M&A and investments
• Significant experience independently running, negotiating, and drafting complex strategic transactions
• Experience working with senior management and various teams in a fast-paced environment
• In-house experience and experience with financial technology or payments industry (preferred)
