Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal, US.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and oversee dispute and litigation matters
• Advise on legal considerations related to product innovations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Manage intellectual property matters and assist with mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating necessary documents

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; admitted to at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred)
• 8-10+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, particularly in technology transactions
• Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property, and data privacy regulations
• Experience managing litigation and working with external counsel
• Experience preparing a company for IPO readiness is highly desirable
