Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise-grade data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize metadata-driven data pipelines in Fabric and ADF for ingestion, transformation, and delivery
• Architect solutions using Medallion Architecture, ensuring scalability, governance, and reusability
• Lead small teams, mentor data engineers, and work directly with customers to gather requirements and provide best-practice guidance

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years leading/mentoring teams
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Stored Procedures
• Proven end-to-end project delivery experience
• Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and data lakehouse practices
