Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Database Engineer to manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases and lead migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of PostgreSQL databases, focusing on backups, security, and performance tuning
• Identify and resolve complex database performance issues and optimize ETL processes
• Collaborate with departments to integrate and manage data flow across enterprise systems

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
• Extensive experience in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases
• Advanced skills in Linux environments and shell scripting
• Deep understanding of Snowflake and its integration within database systems
• In-depth knowledge of cloud services, specifically AWS and Azure
